End of 2009, President Obama, came up with his “Surge” policy, whereby, he decided to send 30,000 more U.S. troops into Afghanistan. The President planned “to deploy and pull out troops quickly—a “surge” similar to the one that his Republican predecessor had executed in Iraq, but with a fixed date to begin withdrawals.”  There has been an amalgamation of both positive and negative reactions in a myriad of articles published in some of the leading newspapers of the USA.
