Contemplating the Constituent Assembly
In Kantipur (18 July), one of the framers of the 1990 Constitution of Nepal, Laxman Prasad Aryal, said, “the demand for a Constituent Assembly is not only part of the Maoist agenda, but should be the goal of this nation and its people…. It is the most democratic form of state-building.â€
