Medha Chaturvedi

Medha Chaturvedi's research is in the domain of tribal affairs, left wing extremism in India's eastern states, and democratisation and ethnic reconciliation in Myanmar. She has extensive field experience in working in India's tribal areas India, including several projects with national and international agencies on the subject of development in tribal areas. Medha is currently a doctoral candidate at the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany. Her thesis is on the human and environmental cost of mining in the hilly forest terrains of Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
